          About Lisa

          Lisa Gentile M.S. is a life coach for people who are willing to get creative to make big things happen in their lives. Lisa helps her clients leverage their core strengths for maximum impact in their endeavors. She utilizes evidence-based coaching techniques to ensure that clients may benefit from the most valid, reliable, and effective approaches available. 

          Lisa draws on her training in psychology, education, business, and coaching as well as her past experience in research, organizational development, and strategic planning at non-profit-organizations and world-class technology firms. She earned her B.A. in Experimental Psychology at Revelle College at University of California San Diego and her M.S. in Education & Psychological Studies at California State University East Bay. She received her professional coaching-specific training from Coach Training Alliance, VIA Institute, and Fielding Graduate University.

          Outside of her coaching practice, Lisa maintains a life-long interest in the arts. She is a published poet, a playwright, a screenwriter, and a film director. She is a steering committee member and producer at Play Cafe in Berkeley, CA. Several plays that she co-wrote with her husband, Nick, have been performed in California. Their films have premiered at the California Independent Film Festival and the Danville International Children's Film Festival.

          Away from the page, Lisa is crews for the Pegasus Project, a program that takes local youth sailing on the bay. She also enjoys traveling from her home base in the San Francisco East Bay Area.
